Manager of Anti Piracy
The Manager of Anti-Piracy is responsible to ensure that appropriate and effective business and technology strategies are in place to facilitate the Anti-Piracy program for MENA. The Manager needs to support all aspects of the core broadcast business both now and in the future. Its focus is to safeguard beIN Sport’s content distribution strategy and to ensure our obligations to our content rights are fulfilled. The role also needs to anticipate and respond to the ever-changing demands and complexities related to beIN Sport activities in programmer acquisition, and distribution across all platforms. Ensure that the CTO department maintain and develop effective communication, by building good relationships across the business by engaging actively in the technology & operational needs (present & future) of the business, and identifying effective and efficient solutions.
Missions
- Lead cross functional teams in supporting anti-piracy program.
- Maintain the anti-piracy program with specific recommendations, investment recommendations.
- Meet with key stakeholders in the regions to understand current needs and to assess and suggest new approaches and programs for anti-piracy.
- Work with an internal anti-piracy task force composed of key senior stakeholders to approve and roll out new plan.
- Effectively roll out anti-piracy plan and measure success of plan based on agreed upon metrics.
- Develop anti-piracy budget.
- Provide reporting and regular updates to senior executives in the company.
- To advise and influence senior management level through structured communication of resource availability and shortfalls.
- Assist with the continual review of all operational practices ensuring optimum efficiencies and cost effectiveness.
Required qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Technology
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Broadcast Engineering or other related field. Previous track record of success in the anti-piracy area
