beIN SPORTS to exclusively broadcast the final three matches of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2024™ across 39 markets
beIN MEDIA GROUP (‘beIN’), the global sports, entertainment and media group, has reached an agreement with FIFA, which will give the Group’s flagship sports channels, beIN SPORTS, exclusive broadcast rights to the closing stages of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2024TM in 39 markets across the Middle East & North Africa, France, Asia-Pacific and North America.
The annual tournament will be hosted in Qatar from 11 to 18 December and brings together the champions of all six confederations for the chance to compete on the global stage and be crowned world football’s best club side.
On 11 December – the FIFA Derby of the Americas Qatar 2024 – CONACAF Champions Cup winners, C.F. Pachuca from Mexico will play the winners of the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores, Brazilian team Botafogo F.R.
The winner of the FIFA Derby of the Americas match will then face Egypt’s Al Ahly SC in the FIFA Challenger Cup Qatar 2024 on 14 December. The winner will face UEFA Champions League title holders Real Madrid on 18 December when the FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2024 TM champions will be crowned.
The first two matches will be held at Doha’s Stadium 974, before the much-anticipated final match at the iconic Lusail Stadium – marking the two-year anniversary of the historic FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM final.
