Corporate Communications Manager
The Corporate Communications Manager, including Public Relations, Media Relations and Branding, will ensure that an external and internal communications strategy is created, implemented, and executed for beIN SPORTS in the USA and Canada, as well as oversee the execution of specific branding, PR , B2B, & Communications projects.
Missions
- Ensure articulation of the company’s desired image and position internally and externally
- Work with executive team and marketing director on brand building initiatives, with the goal of increasing brand awareness within target markets
- Works closely with executive team and marketing director to create national and regional MarCom communication strategies for products and manage coordinates to ensure the implementation of those strategies
- Manages outside marketing communications vendors
- Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive communications and public relations program that delivers on the key goals of the company and makes a direct and measurable contribution to sales and business growth
- Coordinate media interest in the organization and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriately respondse to media requests
- Manage Provides public relations activities in promoting beIN SPORTS and its programming/Talent;,i.e., writes and prepares press announcements, articles, thought leadership pieces, etc.
- Supervise production and distribution of press releases & media alerts
- Strategize and manage awards/accolades for beIN SPORTS, including research, applications, presentations and all follow up
- Cultivate and extend the message and reputation of beIN SPORTS among leading industry analysts, including but not limited to those of managing relationships trade media
- Strategize and manage the development of briefings, inquiry calls, and other interactions between journalists and key thought leaders within and outside the company
- Internally communicate information relating to brand strategy, marketing messaging, business development, Acquisitions and programming, and other accomplishments or newsworthy happenings
- Prepare and brief beIN SPORTS executives and talent for speaking engagements, media/journalist interactions, and media appearances
Required skills
- Ability to manage contacts and relationships within the print, broadcast and online community
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in public relations, communication, marketing, writing and/or relevant work experience at a PR agency or corporate setting
- 2+ years communications experience
- Experience in developing communications plans and messaging strategy
- Exceptional creative writing and business writing skills
- Experience managing a PR agency
- Experience playing lead PR role for B2C & B2B audience
- PR Agency and client-side experience a plus
- Experience working with senior management
- Background of launching web/viral PR initiatives a plus
